Sound Events offers a range of flooring solutions to suit all requirements.

Coir and DandyDura Matting

Coir matting made from coconut husk is ideal for providing a natural look to any marquee. Its natural fibres allow any spillages to soak through without drawing up moisture from below.

DandyDura is a synthetic equivalent to Coconut matting. It is easier to maintain and clean whist still giving a natural look.

Wooden Floor

This floor is built with interlocking wooden bearers that lock the floor together making it an ideal hard surface for most events. It is finished in a hardwearing dark brown paint but can be covered with coloured carpet to suit any colour scheme.

Carpet

Carpet is available in an extensive range of colours. It can either be fitted onto a wooden floor or laid directly onto the ground.

Dance Floor

This varnished parquet dance floor comes in 1m (3ft) sections and is finished with a safety edging. It is best suited for areas with a reasonably flat ground level.

Unlevel site?

Using our flooring system or matting is usually sympathetic enough to deal with slightly uneven and unlevel surfaces. If a site is particularly unlevel, all hope is not lost. Pending a site visit, there are options available to deal with such situations including Marquee sub floors and scaffold structures.
